This bowl is inspired by my walks on the beach with our 10 year old spaniel, Bertie. The vortex  illustration of the sand and water, represents the symbiotic nature of the powerful Atlantic waves, hitting the famous Loe Bar beach. The sea drags back the sands in a treacherous undercurrent, as the waves hit the beach and almost wills the viewer to be enveloped by the deep and mysterious waters.
